Dallas, June 2006 - Counter Culture, in Mockingbird Station, is celebrating (the continued success) of their second store location. “Our second store has been based on more of a boutique-style philosophy. We carry a range of new clothing lines, including vintage ware and our Particle Clothing Line, which is an innovative new line of vintage reconstructed clothing.” says Lyndsey Coburn. "We are thrilled about celebrating our 1st year in Mockingbird Station. It has gone by really quickly and we are excited to see what happens in the next 5 years," says Richard Coburn, owner of Counter Culture. Coburn’s first Counter Culture, located in the heart of Dallas’ entertainment district, Deep Ellum, has been a favorite of numerous musicians and actors. Some of their recognizable and loyal clientele include Taking Back Sunday, Division of Laura Lee, Bad Religion, The Zutons, Erykah Badu, Ben Kweller, Owen and Luke Wilson.

On June 9, Counter Culture will be hosting a party/art show to celebrate the 1st year anniversary of their newest store. The event will include live music… and of course free giveaways. “We just want to give back to the friends we have made and to also thank our customers for their continued support,” “says Coburn”
